We are pleased to share that ALMARC has been successful in achieving the LowCarbonSG Participant Logo 2024.The LowCarbonSG Logo is awarded to companies that demonstrate progress in measuring and monitoring their carbon emissions, through the LowCarbonSG program.The LowCarbonSG program is helmed by the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition (CPLC), the decarbonisation arm of  Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) and supported by the National Environment Agency (NEA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG).The program equips businesses across Singapore with the tools and knowledge to manage their carbon emissions. A key pillar of the program is the Carbon & Emissions Recording Tool (CERT), which was developed by GCNS in collaboration with the NEA. CERT simplifies the process of emissions tracking with its user-friendly design and in-built calculation formulas.

By leveraging CERT, ALMARC has been able to measure, monitor and manage its Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions, on a limited scale, for a start. This has aided us to develop appropriate action plans and initiatives towards reducing our current emissions, while also identifying other relevant sources of emissions to target, on a year-to-year expansion of CERT utilisation.

Receiving the LowCarbonSG Participant Logo is another visible indication of ALMARC’s sustainability journey – which is one of the key thrusts of our business strategy since 2024. We are slowly but continuously integrating sustainable practices into our operations, to further reinforce our brand and value to like-minded sustainability-centred customers and business partners, while also contributing to the national agenda towards a more sustainable future.
